Lombardi’s Pizza was the first pizzeria in the United States. 

Lombardi’s was originally a grocery store but started selling pizza in 1905. Even then, pizza still wasn’t seen as a normal food in the United States until the ‘40s. 

The largest pizza ever made was 122 feet across.
